We have paused our travel health vaccination service until further notice. This is due to the current polio virus outbreak in London. We are now prioritising the vaccination and protection of children at risk of catching polio. Should you require travel advice and vaccinations in the meantime please visit a local travel clinic. Thank you for your understanding.

Before you travel please visit Travel Health Pro for further information about your destination.

When travelling please allow as much time as possible to arrange your travel appointment at the Practice. We advise you attend to arrange your appointment at least six weeks before you travel. Please help us to help you better by having as much information as possible to hand including:

  • Travel destination (especially multiple destinations)
  • Dates of travel
  • Any previous vaccinations (especially anything given at private clinics or elsewhere)

We offer a limited number of appointments for this travel service which can be booked by reception.  If we are unable to offer you an appointment, there is a range of local services you may wish to access.

Please note only the following vaccines are available on NHS:

  • Diphtheria/tetanus/polio
  • Hep A
  • MMR
  • Typhoid

Advice on Malaria will be given.

Immunisation against infectious Hepatitis (Hepatitis A) is available free of charge on the NHS in connection with travel abroad.

Occasionally there are shortages of commonly used travel vaccines, which is out of our control. When this occurs you will be advised to seek travel health advice from another provider.

And:

We understand that some travel plans are made at the last minute, and we will always try to accommodate you. In the event that the nurse’s NHS clinics are full at the time you need an appointment we may advise you to seek travel health advice from another provider.
